Economic Basic Education
Scientific support of the project "Economic Basic Education"
The project is focusing on the development of a life- and working life-oriented offer regarding the general economic education for educationally disadvantaged people within the e-learning portal ich-will-lernen.de of the German Adult Education Association (DVV) e. V.
Functional illiterates as well as adults without high school or vocational training graduation are supposed to be strengthened in their economic everyday-competences, since they are disproportionately high concerned by the risk of poverty or debt. The project aims at involving them into the framework of economical acting and enabling them to learn how to use resources independently to better assess and use their financial latitude. For this reason, the didactical units are thematically integrated in an everyday life context and suitable for autonomous learning from a pc as well as for blended-learning applications.
The project is developed by the German Adult Education Association (DVV) e. V. and financially supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
